About

Meet Jenny & Craig
After a successful 27-year career in IT Service Management, Jenny retired in 2025 to pursue something much closer to her heart: creating exceptional customer experiences. Hospitality had always been a passion, and she was eager to return to a role where welcoming people and providing outstanding service were at the centre of every day.
For many years, Jenny and Craig had shared a dream of running their own traditional village pub. After months of exploring opportunities, they were delighted when the chance arose to become the tenants of the March Hare, an independent free house owned by John and Janice Pritchett.
The March Hare has earned an excellent reputation for the quality of its real ales, something John and Janice worked hard to establish. Keen to continue those high standards, Craig spent time working alongside John, learning from his wealth of knowledge and experience in selecting, storing and serving perfectly kept cask ales. Craig is passionate about building on that legacy, ensuring every pint reflects the care and quality for which the March Hare has become known.
Since reopening the pub in May 2026, Jenny and Craig have been overwhelmed by the warmth, kindness and support they have received from the local community. They are incredibly grateful for the encouragement shown by both familiar faces and new visitors, whose enthusiasm has made them feel at home from day one.
Together, Jenny and Craig are committed to restoring the March Hare to its rightful place as the heart of village life. Overlooking the beautiful St Mary Magdalene Church and just a short stroll from the much-loved Dunton Community Garden, the pub is perfectly placed to bring people together. Their vision is to create a welcoming, traditional village pub where outstanding hospitality, excellent real ales and a strong sense of community are always at the heart of the experience.
