A search for Dunton on the web shows pictures with the Church and The March Hare. Both are an integral part of the village and it looks good!
The pub has been closed since John and Janice retired at the end of last year. Other villages have lost their pub. We don't want that! It has been registered as an Asset of Community Value. which helps to protect it from demolition or conversion into housing. That gives an opportunity for a community group to acquire and run it. We would have a completely free hand to make decisions about what it offers. What drinks, food, activities, etc.
We are forming a group to explore the possibilities and hopefully put in a bid and we need help and input from as many people as possible. We would have a clean slate to relaunch The March Hare as a new business. This is a big undertaking so we need your help and support. Can we add you to our mailing list and invite you to share your thoughts and wishes?

It’s official; we have beer!!
It’s all systems go now and we’re happy to announce we will be opening at 12pm on Tuesday 5th May!

We will be having a private launch for close friends and family on Monday for a test run, then the doors will be open and the taps will be flowing from Tuesday!
