A search for Dunton on the web shows pictures with the Church and The March Hare. Both are an integral part of the village and it looks good!
The pub closed when the owners John and Janice retired. Other villages had lost their pub but we did not want that!. So It was registered as an Asset of Community Value. which helps to protect it from demolition or conversion into housing.
A group was formed to explore the possibilities and receive input from as many people as possible. A meeting was called. It was well attended and there was enthusiastic discussion and determination to get it reopened. That has now happened and we look forward to keeping it open and serving the local community.

“It’s official; we have beer!!
It’s all systems go now and we’re happy to announce we will be opening at 12pm on Tuesday 5th May!

We will be having a private launch for close friends and family on Monday for a test run, then the doors will be open and the taps will be flowing from Tuesday!"
