The March Hare Dunton

We love our beer!

There has been a pub on this site, previously known as the Wheatsheaf, now known as the March Hare since 1840.  This means that the March Hare has been in Dunton for 179 years.  This is something Duntonians should be proud of because they still have a pub.  Dependent on where you get your information from, there are still approximately four pubs closing every week.

The March Hare, a traditional real ale community pub, is now under the stewardship of John and Janice Pritchett who rescued the pub from near dereliction in 2010 and have been slowly renovating the pub, which is ever ongoing.
